Frozen kitchen floor

This morning between tears,

Penny entered her kitchen,

Ice from cats water bowl spilled and only in Iowa this December froze Christmas ever morning frozen kitchen floor,

Dirt under Penny’s kitchen linoleum,

Penny worried,

Cried some more,

Feared while she worked her kitties and dog and bird and turtle would freeze to death she she asked me her adopted sister to come!

My blood sister I was only good to tote and care for their kids.

So Penny sent money,

I put in $20,

Went to Walmart for cat foot and tea and gum in a big ass rubber tub,

Cross that out not tub TOTE!

See I walk with a cane,

You cane a lot of stuff in a tote you drag it behind you,

I’m a writer with heart,

Pull stand up,pull stand up,pull see U might be sixty-four but I ain’t done yet,

And I hate that my adopted sister freezes ,

Works from 7pm to 3am,

If I had the money I’d buy her a furnace and solar panels,

No Iowan Home owner should Fricken Freeze!
