Stands alone,
Bossy cat,
Stays and waits,
Rules the house,
Her way or the highway,
When all are at rest,
No need to count,
Sadie’s in the big room,
Watching,
I aware in a previous life she roamed the sea,
A pirate bad ass,
Bickering here,
Bickering there,
Law of all she sees,
Sadie a grey calico,
Like a Roman candle,
She stands alone,
