Hello in one of my favorite movies,

A romance with David Ducupnee,

I know his last name is just spelt like it sounds to me,

But this is ‘My’ feeling I’m sharing,

A neighbor comes to doggie sit,

The young man told David he looked,

Referring to how great David appeared,

Hummmm mmm!

It’s more of a complete to be told by a lesbian,

So ‘And how!’

There I said it the dreaded L word,

I wove this actor,

Bit Tall doesn’t cut it,

Last night in Quasqueton,Iowa out temps dropped to,

One of my dad’s favorite words,

I Doc L.N.Heike,doctor of Chiropractic,Waukon,Iowa’s daughter prefer,

See sixty-two after eleven over nights in the eighties,

Down from Ninety-Seven or warmer,

I lost all my tomatoes,

Bought for three-ninety-nine a piece,

And two cucumbers,

Why to damn hot,

Last week I checked to see if Wally World had lowered the veggies prices,

I was told the vendor won’t allow the plants sold lower,

How stupid!

A sale us the purpose of commerce!

So I will be buying my produce Amish this year,

A dear friends husband gave me soil,

My beans and cucumbers need mother earth’s smile to bounce back!

So Amish,

Plants need irrigation,

All Iowan’s who Ever had a garden knows that!

Sad my time was wasted,

Still cool enough,

At nearly seven am,

I shall finish vacuuming,

Then make a piping bowl of porage,

Hope your heat has subsided,

In Iowa we know this is normally the lull before the real heat,

Global Warming has changed Iowa’s story,

If America’s weather and temperature this year were a TV show,

The show would be called,

Fantasy Island’,
