To take a hard worker,
Fifteen years,female,nurse in ER,
After hip surgery walked during her forty plus a week with cane,
Atta the nurse in question worked nights,
They at this Catholic Iowa Hospital been shorthanded,
So like Yoda would say ‘Overtime Must labor!’
Atta never balked!
Daughter need mom home,
Drove forty miles both ways,
Atta took pride in her job!
Loved her job,
Like dad would say ‘Atta’s getting a bumstear!’
Its a rodeo tear!
She inquiring red if she could use a walker,
Bingo,
Bammo!
Before Atta could blink!
Never wrote up!
Never spoke to,
Even during Covid she was in the front lines!
Atta told her poet friend something Eye opening!
Neighbors would go to other side of the street if hospital workers on seen outside of the hospitals in uniform!
Vietnam all over again!
Panic,
Wages in dumpster,
Still forking out several hundred dollars a month for medical insurance as if on the job,
This is not how a friend is treated!
A co worker,
Hard working Iowan female,
Can no one offer any ideas,
Shes beyond worry,
