Ronnie Sanlo,

Apart of something bigger then one,

Theres a woman on Facebook,

A friend,

Records our past history and show we matter,

Very nice wish I knew as a youngster my history had depth.

No mentors in rural Iowa for those of us Not mistakes.

It matters wanting to fit in.

Being apart of anything cause I wasn’t.

Didn’t meet anyone gay until I was thirty-six,

Spent years hoping while carving fir the knife to slip and end my existence,

Friends and family make the differents life hell,

No role models,

No community,

No prom or ball games,

Homebodies helping mom and dad,

No selfesteem,

You always do us proud and show we are and were apart of history.
