Amish mom

Before a youth joins the church family,

A youth is allowed in larger communities to go on Rumspringer

Rumspringer allows young Amish to swing,

Drink,meet other young people,

Experience the outside world,

One young Pennsylvania did just that,

Unfortunately,

Unfortunately like without a thought in her head,

Without a care,

One night,

It only takes once,

The magic of the freedom,

The stupidity of the act itself,

This young woman from a culture where men rule,

I know an Amish lady in my County I drove fir Anna Yoder,

Her husband David from Kentucky distant cousin David Yoder left Anna just after their fifth child was born,

Anna can never remarry,

Davids life goes on,

Anna is considered married until David died,

Even if they Never again spend time together,

The young Rumspringer Amish girl when she found herself pregnant,

Her dear old dad closed the family door on her,

She was forbade to return with the baby,

The young of today are not taught things you do are your responsibility,

Her baby was a foundling,

Left in the doorway of a church,

This was the only way the Amish Community would take her back again.

The stories true I met the woman,

Married for ten years to a man in Britian,

She has no papers,

No photos,

No birth certificate,

So apart they stay,

All because a sixteen year old girl had unprotected sex.
