The other side

When I was a kid,

A true life film was in theaters,

Called the Other Side of a mountain,

In High School Economics I fashioned my term paper after the boy and his tree,

I ate nothing but sunflowers fir a year with water,

You know a thousand seeds,

Drink of water and so on and so forth,

Good thing I was eighteen when I wrote that,

I was fifty-four when I got an upper plate,

Dentures and splitting Sunflower seeds is a foolish endeavor,

I learned that after I had one with new teeth,

Cracked a molar now in certain light appear to have a ghost tooth,

And then theres the fact that I never,

Never ever could whistle through my teeth,

I can never say that again,

When I say other side I refer to biking,no!

Ok refer to walking or running,

It is mandatory to face the traffic when walking or running,

On my ride to town on nearly empty,

A lady was running who wore good color and was on the correct side,

And a man a bit further on,

In all black walking,

Dumb,

Dumb,

Dumb,

I was struck at eighteen on horse,

And at fifty walling my ren speed across the non busy,

Waukon,Iowa street,

I was struck by Lyn Morrow a ninety-three year old retired attorney,

Don’t get hit,

To many damn attorneys who suck at their jobs,

I was in the right Morrow was wrong,

Morrow got no ticker.
