Phone rings

Both say hello,

Purpose for calling a friend is to touch base,

Exchange plesantries,

Get the low down,

Share happenings,

Exchange thoughts,

Not to tell a friend I’m going to tell you how hopeless I am then say well I hurt to much good bye!

A friend needs to have their turn to share ,

No sharing,

No conversation,

If people are seeking a consul they are not seeking friendship,

Its like giving your opinion,

And grtting a dollar and a quarter for it,

You can not even get a pack of gum with that,

A short time ago a pack cost a dollar,

Sixty years ago I bought my first pack of gum with a nickel,

It contained seven sticks,

Yesterday I nearly bought a pack,

Stopped,

Stepped back,

Weighed that decision,

Thought I’d get a couple burritos,

Last I worked at Micky Dee’s they cost a dollar,

I was shocked but I still paid the no seven dollars and four cents the pound of flesh came to.

Your opinion costs,
