She walked out the front door ,
Into my heart,
Drove her roads when I stated no cities,
Longer I knew her maps weee better,
Her apartment was great,
Her black n white cat named Sammy,
Her bed slippery,
That one morning we giggled,
I held her last year 2020,
My lesbian,
A soft butch like me,
On her inside door rainbow Family sign made by her hands,
Sherry saved me, when I was lost in Alanta,
I told her who I was,
What I do,
I record life,
I write about things and people in my life,
I try to teach others they are worth writing about,
Stimulate vocabulary growth,
The writers greatest learning tool is hearing other writers works.
That every book is a learning tool.
I was thrilled she wrote,
But that trip to Georgia and bringing her home,
Offering to share what I loved with her,
I loved and still do cemetaries,
Driving down new country roads,
Bridges are all new and uncommon,
I saw my first in person covered bridge, Sherry walked through,
I thought her fearless,
People are better adventures the ABC Survivor TV show,
People like Sherry Ann Mason whose family (younger sisters are not worthy to breathe her air)will never know how special having Sherry from July 2020 to April 2021 in this poets life,
Sherry,Survived or Stroke and cancer,
Horrible blood kin,
Borderline Aspergers disease,
Who sees Big foot,
Loves the woods,
Shares three long road trips through the Georgian woods to Iowa,
Threw snowballs,
Had own TV channle on YouTube.
That was nice.
Then Sammys alive and well and with you good what a nice way to start the day knowing Sammys not with a stranger.
