First night{Chapter 3,Jacquline Nightwalker}

The Battle was still raging in many quadraints. Tilting ones head hither and neither noise was audible screams and moans from various wounds those deadly others not so severe. Horses neighing. Chariots crunching over falling enemy. Father{ whose name was Gidion} was being treated.

Jeremiah my forth oldest brother was a perigrin falcon, Jeremiah ran about two thousand other messenger birds. Flew out of the reach of arrows. When not in flight in human form he was a master of sword and weapons. Took up guard in front of the family pavillion. Joseph(fifth brother}{dragon} when not monitoring troop movements cooked. Darius read and guarded his little sister.

Many stopped to make inquiry of her. Darius shooed them all away. He feared their curiosity. The guild burnt their dead so when the Roman battalion sailed for home the ashes could be carried back to Italy. But few would understand the predicament of looking dead but still living. Darius was very intelligent a teacher/scholar.

Daruis found the book terribly interesting. Lucus burst in he was Jacquline’s twin and also a wolf. Bright red hair with the Italian temperment to boot. A sister spirit of sorts to his twin Jacquline. When they were very young Lucus felt what Jack experienced it was uncanny! Lucus rushed Darius with malious a short warriors sword and shield demanding to see Jacquline.

Darius: Cool your heels little brother Jacks sleeping! Lucus was on the verge of screaming. Darius sucker ponched Lucus.{It was like pre Indiana Jones without a gun but being a horse Darius guns were his arms.} She doess but sleep! Darius: ‘Keep it down and you can help me, but only if you swear to never tell anyone!’ I’ll tell you all that occured!’ Time grows short! You can assist, you need to steal a iron pan from Jeremiah. Come right back I have need of you!’

In a flash Lucus was gone. Bingo bamo (term I use for magic), Lucus returned frying pan in hand. Darius told Lucus that Jacquline would drink blood from Darius’s arm for four Alexanders. She will try to drink all my blood that’s what the pans for you will smack her with malice. Lucus : ‘I will not! It will kill her!’

Darius: That will never kill our Jacquline.I promise you! Will you assist me or not? On the bed of firs a pale Jack stirs.Pale was wrong term.Jack since twelve ran the seven hills around Rome naked as a jaybird. Jack was twelve when she first tasted the sweetness of another female. Jack use to be as tanned as a native West Indies.

Like a deer Jacqueline looked at her brothers with shock and fear. She said hi,Darius said hi! Do you recall anything! Jack’ My throat is burning I need drink. Wheres my wound? Darius:’Its healed! Jacquline: ‘You lie!’Daruus had read that he needed to cut his wrist if the sire was not there to help.

Darius motioned to Lucus to come in with the pan. Darius sliced just beyond his wrist. In a flash Jacquline was on her brothers wrist. No blood dripped from the wrist. Not a drop drenched the bed clothes over firs. Darius miss counted and was looking faint when the room rang with metal bang from Jeremiah cooking pan.
