Marian D. Heike married Doc L.N.Heike,
Waukon Iowa bought first farm from Elmer Fogt 1968,
Mom and dad named the farm,
The triple H,
Heike’s Hilly Haven,
The was old log cabin barn and house,
Sometimes in nineteen thirties log house was covered in black tar,
Sixty acreas rolling hills,
Kids paradise,
Mom loved horses,
At one time mom and dad had three farms with one hundred and one head of horses and long horn cows.
Mom and her best friend Diane Prestimon shared a Brownie troup.
I will never forget the picnic at the farm.
Styform cups, sandwitches and huge delicious apples.
We the Heikes brought up knowing the value of a dollar.
If we had a hamburger at local drive in,
A&W we alwats got jug of root beer and fries and hamburgers.
We saved napkins, ketchup packets and the like,
Apples shinny and new were ate!
All that day at the farm,
Mom in her scout uniform,
Busy in the kitchen came scurring out,
Styform cups with big holes in littered the house yard and …
Bjg, juicy apple one bite taken just laying on tbe ground,
At times mom’s face looked just like Lucy Ball.
Mom grabbed and raised the one bite wonder above her head and shouted!
‘Do you think apples grow on trees!’
Mom was mad,
Dad always called mom ‘Mother Marian’,Cub Lake neighbors called mom Saint Marian, I called my best friend mom.
Pity mom’s eldest my half sister chewed up and spit mom out jyst because mom Marian Heike Never Ever wanted to live in Granbury Texas with a narcississ bully!
I have a life time of memories of mom. Moments and memories no one can take from me pity my good name was stripped from me by a bully in Granbury Texas so she could lie mom into removing me from my grandad’s property and crushing and murdering our mom in the process.
