Pink Sky

Sunrise December twenty-third,

Awaken alarmed eyes raised skyward,

Not blue nor still black sky saw I,

Deep rosy pink vista filled my window,

As if in days gone by,

A sweet voice I heard,

Mom was telling her middle child,

Pink sky in morning sailer take warning,

Pink sky at night,

Sailor delight!

Lost mom to a massive stroke in June,

Murdered by two pain packs a week of Codine placed on our dievetic mom.

Moms voice recorded in my ears,

Felt in little things within my hearr,

With every beat,

Special moments we shared,

Just like what it means,

Pink sky,

In the morning,
