Seven women came

Strong full of heart,

When Ellen no one really knows why passed through the vail,

Five women who loved my baby sister stepped to her side,

There were Lottie Henrietta Starkey Bittenger, pure Norwegian mom’s mom,

Nana no longer in the pain that took her,

Smiling dressed classily,

There was mom full of life, smiling and humming Nana’s favorite song ‘Amazing Grace!’ Then broke out in one of mom’s silly good hearted songs,

Ellen’s eyes open seeing mom singing and smiles through tears of joy,

Nana,Grandma Agnes who died a year before Ellen was born nineteen sixty,

Aunt Clarian mom’s sister who passed a few years ago.

Ann Charles Heike’s first wife and Becky Rohr eldest daughter of Charles and Gertrude Rohr(dad’s only sister)

Wava smiling holding a lilacs.

No ones words were heard

Mom said come Ellen

We have come to walk with you,

We love you so very much,

It will be all right,

A boy steps up,

Looks like Daniel and Craig,

Tears streak his face,

Ellen reaches up,

Her dog stirs,

Ellen brushes away his tear,

Ellen knew in an instant and says hello son.

What is it like mother?

Mom: Its warm no more cold. No bullies. Your alwats near those you love. You will wait with us for your sons,

Grandchildren,

Sisters,

Mom says as a tear falls from her cheek take my hand!

No regrets!

No pain!

Ellen looks down Dan’s at her.side,

Tears fall, dog howls,

Your lonely sister Val misses you most of all.

All our fir family on guard: Kotten with her Rusty cat and Pal and Penny and Patches and Boomer and Ellen’s Brandies( chocolate labs), Horses too Ellen’s Dolly, my Sir Frances, mom’s Lady and Aces Blue.
