What a great idea for a business.I’m constantly wondering why I appear the only one annoyed that there is no recepriols around that allow for composting our raw veg.Tossing it out instead of gleaning all that is posible from our raw veg is irrational and ‘STUPID!’
It’s the raw waste that causes the methane fires in the dumps. That’s as insane as continue to not assist low income people get into better feuled vehicals or building more combustable cars not one bit worried about the toxic gas filling our air with pollutants.
In Southern Iowa theres this guy who has started a community compost company.I would love to participate in something in that order.I went to Luther College and now for several years in all the buildings their ate recepriols for ((tin, paper, alluminum, and raw organic food waste.))
Luther College share the food packaged up and given to the food bank at First Luthrran Church infortunate the food they share is so full of seasoning and spice or void of nutrient value the tax benifit they get for giving it to the food bank out weighs the use after it is taken home.
Last week I took home a container said sausage and rice.It was peper sausage tomato chicken hot gace me acid and I was left eith no place yo dump it but my trash can or the toilet.
The Compose Ninja makes me this of the garden guy from my home town of Waukon Iowa. For so much money a share was bought of the future produce.
I believe he charges $25 ypu get a bucket. Every week the bucket is picked up and taken to the mulch pile. The mulch is used for gardens and such. Going to have to look into starting one up.Its a shame we as a community have forgotten that everything have value and use and we (I was brought up knowing how to save but today I seem to be surrounded by humans who throw away everything.)
I feel like my favorite commercial when Inwas a kid of the Native American trying to paddle his canoe through garbage as he cries.
